Term 2 Art Club for grown-ups

Pablo Picasso famously said: “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”

Art Club for grown-ups is a 7 week club held at The Workshoppery with the intention of holding space for creative grown-ups who have a passion, interest and longing to make more art, but may not have the dedicated time, space or resources to do so home.

Art Club is not a structured workshop or class, but rather an opportunity to intuitively explore and experiment with a range of materials and techniques. Doing so in a supportive, safe, fun and imaginative environment with like-minded grown-ups.

Ballarat artist and teacher Tegan Crosbie will facilitate the club, encouraging grown-ups to re-discover their inner child artist and play with a range of materials and techniques. Each week Tegan will use a prompt such as a style, theme or object to initiate creative responses.
