April Junk Journal Workshop

This 2 hour workshop will get you clipping and sticking to begin your own personal junk journal.

So what actually is a Junk Journal I hear you ask?...A junk journal is a book filled with personal and recycled materials to store memories and ideas. A little bit like scrapbooking...but more chaotic!

Like its name implies, the pages of are filled with material that you may consider 'junk'. Think newspapers, old train tickets, fabric scraps like lace and ribbons, mismatched buttons, stamps and stickers!

This workshop is perfect if you have an interest in Junk Journalling but don't know where to begin!!

At The Workshoppery

Location
The Workshoppery is a beautiful, intimate, light filled and inspiring studio space. It is located at 25 Barkly Square, right next door to The Barkly Square Cafe

Parking off Princes Street South, then follow the ramp up to the courtyard. Some parking is also available in Barkly Street, enter via the ramp between the two main buildings and follow through into courtyard. The Workshoppery is accessed from the courtyard.

The Workshoppery is wheelchair friendly. Toilets are located nearby in the building.

What will be provided?

- all equipment including piles of retro collage materials!
- a A5 Kraft journal to take home and keep working in
- inspiration to help create your own unique composition
- teaching of design and collage skills
- a lovely arty space to get creative in

What to bring:
-your lovely self
-any photos or momentos you'd like to include in a Junk Journal
-a water bottle if your get thirsty when getting creative!

What happens if my session is cancelled?

In the rare event that the session is cancelled, you will be notified via email or text message no later than 24 hours prior to your workshop is scheduled start. You will be offered a reschedule to another upcoming session or a Workshopppery credit to the value of your purchase for future use or a refund.

What if I need to cancel my workshop?

Sometimes life gets in the way and you might need to cancel your booking. A $20 non-negotiable fee per transaction up to 48-hours before your scheduled session time will be charged.

If cancelling within the 48-hour window prior to a workshop no refunds will be given.

Important: If you don’t show up for the workshop, there will be no refunds or credits.
Please note that workshops may be canceled if the minimum number of participants is not met.
